What counts as a problem?
Anything the free tools mark as a failure or warning that wasn't there on the last check: an untrusted or expiring certificate, CAA records that would block renewal, an invalid SPF or DMARC record, a broken DNSSEC chain, or unreachable nameservers. We also email when it's fixed.
When will I hear from you?
Free collects every alert into one daily digest, sent at the time you choose and only on days something changed. Pro and Agency also email (or Slack) you the moment something serious happens: a certificate expires or stops being trusted, a mail server is blacklisted, or a nameserver stops answering. You choose which alerts go out immediately, which wait for the digest, and which are off.
Will timeouts wake me up?
No. A check that gets no response is never treated as a failure; we keep the last known result and try again on the next check.
What are DMARC reports?
Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and others send daily reports of every server that sent mail using your domain, and whether it passed SPF and DKIM. Upload the report files (.xml, .gz or .zip) and we turn them into a clear picture of who sends as you. Free shows the totals and your top senders; Pro names every sender and tells you when p=reject is safe.
Why monitor blacklists?
A listing doesn't announce itself. Mail is quietly refused or sent to spam, and you find out when a customer asks where their invoice went. Pro checks every mail and web server against the 11 lists that actually block mail, every hour, and emails you the reason and the removal link.
Why are there daily limits on the free tools?
Every check sends live queries to DNS servers, blacklists and websites. A daily allowance keeps the tools fast for everyone and stops a few scripts from using them up. Paid plans get a much larger allowance, counted per account instead of per network.
How does early access work?
New accounts start on Pro, free until November 30, or for 14 days after you join if that is later; you can switch to Agency at any time. No card, nothing to cancel. After that your account moves to Free unless you subscribe, and everyone who joins by November 30 keeps the founding price for life: $8 a month for Pro instead of $12, $26 for Agency instead of $39. Your monitors and history stay either way.
Who handles payments?
Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. It takes card, PayPal and local payment methods, handles sales tax and VAT, and emails an invoice for every payment.
Is there a refund?
Yes. If a paid plan isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. See the refund policy for details. Refund policy
